Persuasive paragraph:
Many people were taking a vacation in Thailand, one day during noon, when the low tide had oddly withdrawn at that time, people had gone out to to the beach shore to collect the starfish and shells that had been washed up the shore. But not after long, the huge wave of water then had been sent out wiping out hundreds of people along the shore and around it. What had happened? A tsunami had come and destroyed everything that was in their way. It hit Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India the hardest. And here's the ironic part, the tsunami hit on the day after Christmas, boxing day. The tsunami had killed 4,812 people in Thailand, with 8,457 injuries and 4,499 people still missing. While 4,812 people have been confirmed dead, 8,100 people are thought to also be dead. The reason why tsunami prevention is important, is because, would you like for this to happen again? Even though it is hard to know when a tsunami is coming there are certain things you can do to protect yourself from them, that is why we want to do tsunami prevention, we should do what we can.
